Program Overview: This program will cover basic, intermediate and advanced photography techniques that can be applied to school yearbooks, blogging, newsletters, newspapers, magazine, photo contests, photo exhibits as well as your basic family photo album.  Students will also learn about the importance of effective social media interaction as a photographer/journalist.  The introduction of video capture will be included with the use of high definition digital video functions along writing skill for the creation of a student written newsletter (Cool Kidz Create). We will utilize creative lesson plans and projects provided by our staff along with curriculum provide by The International Center of Photography (I.C.P.) and 4-H National Education Standard for the Arts (N.E.S.A).  Creating Exposure Through The Arts will partner with other organizations to capture images and provide photography services throughout the duration of the program and will showcase images during exhibits.
