This program will teach photography and videography techniques using point & shoot and DSLR cameras. We will also introduce basic writing skills as we produce blog posts and the "Cool Kidz Create" newsletter. The skills learned can be applied to school yearbooks, blogging, newsletters, newspapers, magazine, photo shoots, photo contests and photo exhibits. Participants will also learn about the importance of effective social media interaction as a photographer/journalist. We will display images during local community photography workshops.
