Join us on Saturday 10/8 from 9am-12noon and participate in our "Black Lives Matter" photography project at Hygge Co-working located at 809 W. Hill Street, Charlotte NC 28208 (Uptown near Bank of America Stadium). Come be part of our next photo exhibit.
Creating Exposure Through The Arts, in a partnership with the Arts & Science Council, mentors/teaches youth as part of the Culture Blocks Program and we will be shooting subjects for our photography projects entitled "Black Lives Matter".
This will be a teaching workshop that will bring new C.E.A. teen students, alumni students and freelance photographers together to create impactful studio images.
We invite the community to come with signs, dressed in cultural outfits, wear your police uniforms, showcase tattoos and/or t-shirts/items that represent your feelings. This will create conversation and we may even capture community suggestions for resolutions. Images and video captured will be displayed in a photo exhibit as part of the ASC Program.
We want bridge gaps and get our youth involved in expressing their thoughts while hearing others. This will create a diverse round table with creative outcomes.
